Ritu is currently a Ph.D. scholar at JKI, Germany, where she is investigating the cold tolerance mechanisms in Faba beans. Her work is focused on creating standardized protocols for cold stress screening and conducting metabolomic analyses to explore frost resilience in plants. Additionally, she is involved in studying heterosis for frost tolerance in hybrid F1 beans. Previously, Ritu contributed to numerous projects during her postgraduate studies at VNMKV and assisted in research related to maize, sorghum, chickpea, and wheat.
