Dr. Michael Ayodele Omodara is an accomplished researcher in biosystems and agricultural engineering, currently serving as Assistant Director and Head of Postharvest Engineering Research at the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky, with earlier degrees from the University of Ilorin. With extensive experience in research, consultancy, and leadership, he has contributed to advancing postharvest technologies and food systems. His research focuses on grain storage, cold chain systems, and sustainable agricultural engineering solutions. A recipient of multiple awards and fellowships, he continues to drive innovation in postharvest management and food security.
