Continuing his academic pursuit, he completed his M.Phil. in Plant Physiology in 2015, where he optimized fertilizers and hormonal doses for better growth of Jatropha curcas L.. His academic career culminated in a Ph.D. in Applied Biosciences in 2020 from Kyungpook National University, South Korea. His groundbreaking thesis explored alterations in the phenylpropanoid pathway to enhance biotic stress tolerance in plants.
