Prof. Abiodun Humphrey Adebayo was born on December 8, 1975, in Nigeria. From a young age, he exhibited a profound interest in science, culminating in a stellar academic journey. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Calabar in 1999, followed by a Master’s in Biochemistry at the University of Jos in 2005. His academic passion led to a PhD in Biochemistry from Covenant University in 2009, focusing on the phytochemical, biochemical, and toxicological studies of Ageratum conyzoides.

His pursuit of excellence continued through postdoctoral studies at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, enhancing his expertise in phytochemistry and toxicological studies.
