Dr. Alak Roy began his academic journey with a Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) in 2008, graduating with an impressive 71.84% (CGPA: 3.99/5.0). His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue an M.Tech in Information Technology from Tezpur University, where he excelled with 82% (CGPA: 8.65/10.0). Dr. Roy completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the same university in 2019, with a groundbreaking thesis titled “A Study on MAC Protocols for Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks” under the guidance of Prof. Nityananda Sarma.
